Melissa Scott

I am one of the lucky ones. My working life is spent doing what I love most, meeting interesting people and helping them get fitter, stronger and achieve a level of health and well-being that stretches far beyond their original needs.

Those that train with me know of my dedication and endless enthusiasm for perfecting every move. I encourage, ensuring everyone pushes their personal boundaries, steps outside their comfort zone and feels the satisfaction of progressing towards perfection.

24 years in the fitness industry has shown me the most successful way to attaining good health, is through the support and care of a professional instructor. 

My TBT team is awesome. I have personally selected them for their outstanding teaching skills, knowledge, passion and the genuine care they bring to every individual in class. We are free-thinkers with the ability to tailor exercise to your needs and the freedom to create workouts that make you feel good.

Izzy Chaplin

Izzy discovered pilates while she was waiting for her dance teacher to come back from maternity leave and it did not take long for Izzy’s body to really tone up and become strong again (having put quite a fair bit of weight on when having her son!). For the last 6 years Izzy has been teaching mums, dads, professional sports people and corporate businesses the techniques of pilates.

Pilates ranges from the beginners classes to the “boot camp” classes! Izzy is looking forward to welcoming you to her pilates class.

Sophie Free

Sophie spent many years travelling the world as a professional dancer. After pushing her body to the limits and beyond she turned to yoga, at the advice of her osteopath, to help heal her dancing injuries. Having practiced Bikram Yoga for four years and retired from her professional dancing career, Sophie embarked on a Hatha yoga teacher training course and proudly qualified in January 2010.

Yoga has enriched all aspects of Sophie’s life and she is thrilled to be able to share her knowledge and experience of this incredible discipline.

Rachel Coleman-Vaughan

Rachel practised her 1st class in 2010 and was hooked immediately, giving up her busy job in the city to become a full time yoga instructor and graduated from Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in November 2012. Yoga has enhanced so many aspects of her life, not only physically improving strength and flexibilty but mentally improving focus and concentration. Having struggled with her weight in the past, following fad diets and exercise plans but with no longevity Rachel has found practising Bikram yoga has maintained a healthy weight, bringing balance back into her life.

She loves to turning up the heat enabling you to work deeper and benefit from detoxifying your body by sweating, working every single muscle, tendon, joint, ligament, organ and gland for a total body workout. Rachel has a great enthusiasm for Bikram yoga and thrives on teaching and watching people heal old injuries, improve posture, lose weight, tone up, and achieve better balance and focus.

Shasha Cross

"Shasha fell off a skate ramp and into a yoga class aged 22. She soon discovered that yoga was something her body loved. She practiced intermittently through Hatha, Iyengar classes and home practised with Ashtanga style DVDs until an opportunity arose to make her dream of teaching yoga a reality. She took the Yoga Alliance accredited 500hrs Teaching Training with Feel Hot Yoga, qualifying with Distinction.

As well as teaching yoga (and being a mum!) Shasha is a Sports Massage Practitioner, available to ease your aches in the new treatment room at the Old Dairy.

Her warmth,enthusiasm and love of yoga is motivating in class and when she is not teaching you may well find her practising on a mat beside you!


Emma McLean

Having spent the last nineteen years living in various countries across the globe, Emma and her family moved back to the UK in 2012. Emma discovered Melissa’s TRX class and was immediately hooked. So much so, Emma enrolled on a TRX training course and hasn’t looked back since.

Starting out in Group Exercise and Personal Training in 1994, Emma has been inspiring people all over the globe to adopt a fitter and healthier lifestyle. Emma spent much of her twenties teaching a range of classes from Les Mills Body Pump, Body Balance and Body Step, to Spinning, Circuit and Aqua classes, as well as managing health clubs and Spa’s in Hong Kong, Singapore and Mauritius. In her spare time, Emma loved being outside completing in triathlons and adventure racing, as well as hiking in the Hong Kong country side.

Having enjoyed the benefits of sports massage for many years, Emma went on to gain a diploma in Sports Massage and Beauty Therapy in 2005. Living in Australia for seven years Emma managed a day spa as well as teaching group fitness classes at a number of local health clubs.

Emma is passionate about introducing exercise and wellness to those whose need it most. Helping people change their lives through fitness in a fun and enjoyable environment.


Kas Pindolia

Kas started practicing Ashtanga and Hatha yoga in 2004 and thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of a regular yoga practice. To deepen her knowledge of yoga asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing techniques), she decide to train as a Hatha yoga teacher in 2014 and successfully became a yoga alliance registered teacher. 

Kas has a kind, welcoming and gentle approach in her classes and draws upon her yoga knowledge to deliver a slow paced, full body stretch class designed to iron out your tight, fatigued muscles. 


Emma Gyasi

Emma graduated with a BA Honours in Dance studies in 2003. She then spent the last 11 years teaching and instructing dance and performing arts students. Teaching, guiding and instructing is Emma's passion and what she does best!

After taking her first Barre class 12 months ago, Emma got her ETM qualification and decided to teach Barre herself. She decided to shift her teaching from students to adults who are excited and interested in using the principles of ballet and barre exercises for fitness. "I love seeing people progress and develop their fitness levels through movement and I am so excited to be bringing Barre to the TBT studio!"

Joey Brown

After training for 10 years at the Arts Educational School in Tring, Hertfordshire, Joey graduated at 18 with a Diploma in Professional Ballet. Since then, she has trained with the YMCA to teach Exercise to Music, which has enabled her to combine her background in performing arts with the fitness industry.

Joey has taken her skills in fitness, anatomy and ballet to choreograph a Barre class aimed at maximising your workout, by targeting specific areas of the body, resulting in a leaner, more toned and elongated physique. Joey uses genuine ballet school drills, set to an uplifting playlist of great music to carry you through the class.

No previous ballet experience is required to join in, as Joey's clear and encouraging direction will guide you through all standing and floor based Barre exercises in this effective 60 minute class.

Kathryn Fa

Kat has been practising yoga for almost 10 years. Her journey began when working on improving her symptoms from endometriosis. She is passionate on supporting women’s health due to experiencing the curative effects a combination of yoga, meditation and mindful nutrition had in her life.

She holds a 200hr RYT Yoga Alliance Certification. She has trained with Tias Little and Max Strom, and still continues to practise under their guidance.

Her passion for alignment, mindful movement and breath work are the foundation for her sessions.  

Kathryn's basis of teaching lies in a synthesis of Hatha, Flow, Iyengar, Qi Gong and Somatic movements. Her classes inspire a greater compassion for the self while cultivating a strong mental and physical practise.

Kathryn teaches from a place of intuition and we follow life's prompts as they arise in the present moment.


Rosie Millen - Miss Nutritionist

Rosie Millen trained at the renowned Institute of Optimum Nutrition. Graduating in 2010 with a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy, she is a fully qualified nutritionist therapist and a qualified Functional Medicine practitioner. She is also a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) which is the professional body for nutritional therapists.

Rosie has a strong passion to help people achieve better health. She believes that by improving your diet and lifestyle you are in a better position to achieve anything you want in life. Rosie says “You really are what you eat. We should never underestimate the power of food as medicine”.

Her desire to spread the word about the connection between diet and the way we feel, think and behave is the very reason she developed the highly effective and successful 21 day detox. Rosie has launched her first line of food products: Dynabites. A family of three energy bars that are a nutritious snack for those on the go with an explosive taste. These can be found on sale in the studio lobby as an excellent post training fuel.

The secret to Rosie’s success is her drive and motivation to help people look and feel better coupled with her positive outlook and friendly personality.
