Perfect if you are looking to tone and elongate muscles. Barre is also recommended as a low impact class and can be suitable for those returning to exercise. The results are excellent!


Barre is an increasingly popular exercise regime incorporating the precision of Pilates with the positions, moves and technique of ballet. Add to this the alignment of yoga and the strength from sports conditioning and you will have all of the aspects of a typical Barre class. The optional addition of resistance bands and light hand weights create a more challenging workout.


The focus is on toning thighs and glutes, sculpting arms and flattening abs, whilst simultaneously burning fat. Muscles are worked to fatigue through full range of motion, followed by end range isometric contractions and static holds. Each session aims to build stamina and endurance, increase flexibility and narrow the waistline. The effect is a long lean dancers body without being a dancer!


Leggings, shorts, support bra (women only) and tops, yoga towel, bottle of water & hand towel.
